Meet Daisy Chain.

A wonderfully good-natured bohemian lady from Tartosa.

A lifelong resident of this small coastal town, she’s best known for her ability to always be in the know.

Daisy was out for her early morning walk.

A daily routine she made a point never to miss.

Daisy was simply minding her business when she spotted something washed up by the ocean.

As she drew closer, her heart sank.

Was that a b-b-b-body?

The nearer she got, the clearer it became that it was in-fact a man laid there.

Was he dead?

And was he donning military garbs?

Suddenly, out of nowhere, the arm of the man flew up into the air.

Daisy jumped back, the colour quickly returning to her face.

‘Oh my Plumbob! Are you okay? I thought you were dead!”

The man simply grunted in response.

He appeared to be somewhat disorientated, but began to rise unsteadying to his feet.

“Where am I?” he asked apprehensively.

“Tartosa… Call me crazy, but it almost looked like you’d washed…”

“Tartosa?” he interjected. “I… don’t know where that is.”

Daisy frowned. “Well, how did you get here exactly? And from…?”

“I don’t know,” he replied. “I don’t remember… anything.”

“Poor boy! Let’s start with your name. Here, me first. Sul Sul, I’m Daisy Chain.”

The man thought hard for a second. “I…. Umm… Sul Sul, I’m… umm, Sul Sul…”

“Your name is Sul Sul?”

“No! I don’t know what it is…”

“Oh! Well, lets just call you Sul Sul for now.”

The man nodded slowly. He suddenly felt very hungry.

“Is there anywhere to eat around here? Although… I don’t think I actually have any Simoleons…”

“Of course! You’re starved. Come, let’s fix you up. Then we’ll figure this out together.”

Daisy had an errand to run, so once in town she motioned Sul Sul to sit.

He happily obliged. Every muscle ached, & he’d come to notice a nasty pain on his head.

Yet it was his mind worrying him. He frantically searched it’s depths, but it was empty. The person he was… gone.

“Who’s Corporal Cutie?” asked the florist.

Daisy glanced over at Sul Sul.

“Well, you wouldn’t believe…”

She paused.

“Oh, maybe I shouldn’t.”

Faiz rolled his eyes.

“Ms Daisy Chain, turning down a gossip?! It must be serious.”

Daisy laughed clumsily.

What had she got herself into?

As she sat down beside Sul Sul, Daisy felt a pang of sadness for this poor Sim.

“How are you doing, my love? I can… only imagine what you’re going through.”

He looked up at Daisy. “I… I really appreciate all your help so far, Mrs Chain. I don’t know where I’d be without you.”

“Mrs Chain! I’m Daisy, dear. Now, how about we pop to my villa? I’ll whip up a nice meal.”

“Inviting me back to your place already, Daisy? We’ve only just met.”

Daisy blushed & the two let out a laugh.

“Oh, you cheeky devil. Come, let’s escape all these prying eyes.”

The pair soon arrived at Daisy’s villa.

(A build by my all time favourite builder @devonbumpkin).

Daisy got to cooking up a big breakfast for a ravenous Sul Sul.

“Those place names in the atlas ringing any bells?”

“No… I could be from literally anywhere in the United Simdom. I’ve no clue.”

“So good,” managed Sul Sul between bites. It was already his second plate.

“Yes! Well, now you’re fed we can get you cleaned up. Rather odd you’re dressed in military kit, don’t you think… maybe you were on some kind of mission gone wrong?”

“Might explain all these bruises.”

“This is the spare bedroom. You’re welcome to stay here as long as you need. There’s men’s clothes in the draw. They should even be your size.”

Sul Sul felt overwhelmed.

“You’re so good to me, Daisy. Can I ask you…”

“Whose bedroom this was?”

She sighed.

“It was my son’s.”

“Your son? Where is he now?” Sul Sul asked, unsure whether to push the matter.

Daisy paused momentarily.

“Both he and my husband were lost at sea. It was just three years ago.”

“Daisy… I’m truly sorry. A loss… so unimaginable.”

“Yes, it was. I miss them, Sul Sul.”

They sat in silence for a short time.

“You, know… It’s strange, you remind me of my son in more ways than you know.”

“I do?” said Sul Sul. “Yes… I can’t put my finger on it. I see him in you. In fact, the more I’m around you, the more… Oh, look at me being all silly.”

She jumped up at once.

“I’ll let you wash up in peace.”

Sul Sul sat for a moment, thinking of Daisy.

Spotting a mirror on the wall, he then realised he couldn’t actually remember what it was he looked like.

It was bizarre. He felt a distant connection to this man, yet it also felt like the first time he was seeing him too.

Sul Sul needed a breather, so he ventured onto the balcony.

The view left him in awe.

Of all the places to wash up on a beach, alone, with no memory of who you are, with not a Simoleon to your name… this was probably one of the better options.

With that, he collapsed onto his bed.

A couple of hours later, Daisy was enjoying a quiet moment in the courtyard.

She suddenly jumped when a figure appeared around the corner.

“Sul Sul! I didn’t recognise you…”

“Yeah, I guess I don’t scrub up too badly.”

ultra attractive Sul Sul has entered the chat

“Yes. You do look handsome, Matthew.”

“Matthew?” asked Sul Sul.

Daisy appeared flustered.

“Sorry, ah… I don’t know why I just called you that… I…”

“It’s okay, Daisy. I don’t have to wear his clothes if it makes you feel uncomfortable…”

“No, Sul Sul. Its fine, I promise.”

Sul Sul observed a sadness in Daisy’s eyes.

He barely knew this Sim, but he could feel the great sorrow that plagued her.

“Anyway, I wanted to tell you I actually have tea plans with a friend.. but I can cancel…”

“No… please!”

“Okay… well, you may of course stay here, or Tartosa is yours to explore. There’s plenty to do down in the town. Plus, the locals will find you *quite* the excitement.”

“I’ll be at the Laurent’s should you need me. The big manor, close to the Square.”

Daisy pulled Sul Sul in for a tight hug.

“I’m here if you need anything. If you suddenly remember anything *at all* about who you are, come find me right away!”

“Thank you Daisy. I’ll be fine.”
