Every film needs a soundtrack, and I think it’s the same with real life too. I need to have my favourite tunes playing in the background, without its just eerily… quiet. Whether its getting me through a run, getting me through the work day, or keeping me company on the train, I need my music to sing along too (mostly in my head, but often not too). My most played artists according to my LastFM are Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Lorde. My most played song ever is 2020’s Rain On Me. Beyond my unquestionable obsession with these pop divas of today, my other favourites include Fleetwood Mac, Florence & The Machine, and MARINA. I’ll occasionally be writing about my favourite new releases, alongside a potential spotlight on some of my older favourites too.
