Back in Tartosa, little Finnick Kattan has also aged into an infant.
He definitely looks a lot more like his mum, whereas Sandy takes after her dad.
The Gen 4 genetics have certainly been kind - all of these bebes are the cutest!!
After hearing from Delphin that her ex Duane had been lurking around Tartosa, Nalani decided to go and pay the philandering llama-bag a visit.
“Uhh… hi Nalani... why are you here?”
“I came to ask you a similar question. Why have you been creeping around me and my family?”
“I just thought... hoped… oh forget it, you’re pissed at me… I won’t come by again…”
“Ah, it’s so wonderful that you arrived at that conclusion all on your own! You see, the Watcher is ITCHING to enact the most humiliating of ends for you... and whilst verrrry tempting, I’d really rather avoid that fate. For Merwyn's sake.”
"No! No! No! I won’t ever disturb you or your family again! I promise! Please…”
Nalani rather enjoyed watching him squirm. She wondered now what she had ever seen in this slimy Sim.
"Lovely! Well then, I best be off. Enjoy the rest of your life. I imagine it won’t be very fun living with the knowledge you fumbled your one chance with this queen. Dag dag!”
With this chapter now closed, Nalani left behind her former home in Sulani for the final time (and in such style!).
She wouldn’t miss Duane, not in the slightest. Despite the trials life had thrown at her (and there had been a few), she was more content than ever.
Just some extra shots of Nalani being a boss!
Before Nalani headed home to Tartosa, she wanted to treat her grandkids to a day out at one of her favourite spots in Sulani.
Sandy was so excited!
Fun at the beach.
Sandy was so unsure about this slide!
Omg, maybe having this slide going directly into the water is a bad idea…
Sandy girl, be careful. You aren't a mermaid like your dad and grandma!
"Finny!! I woz wookin for wu!"
*inaudible infant noises*
"Rasbwewy time!!"
*Finnick giggles uncontrollably*
The Watcher is obsessed with this new toddler-infant interaction!
Sandy is reading her first-ever book (and by reading I mean looking at big pictures).
"Shweep! Fwuffy shweep! I want wan!"
Watcher scribbles down notes
"Mama and Dada, pwetty pwease can I get a fwuffy shweep? And a horsey too?"
Well.... how can anyone say no to this face?
Double date night!
(This used to be a triple date night activity... miss you Dolly and Gemma)
Oop... there's always one…
Apparently being a powerful Coven Leader doesn't equate to being any good at bowling.
Once their double date had ended, Delphin and Ichika bid goodbye to their good friends Sul Sul and Betsy.
The pair decided they weren’t quite ready for their own night to end just yet though, and so jumped on some bikes to venture up to the viewpoint overlooking Terra Amorosa.
“Can I be honest? I feel like I’m not doing enough with my Heirhood, and I’m tired of being overlooked in the Culinary career. What would you say to us opening our own restaurant?”
“Honey, that's a fantastic idea. Sims everywhere will clamour for a taste of your meatballs!’
“I love you so much, Ichika. I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
“I love you too, Delphin. Now c’mon, lets go strip our new house of every heirloom and possession we own in order to fund this new business venture.”

Back in San Sequoia, the Landgraabs had been left shaken by Nancy’s flashback to her old life.
“I feared this day would come. I shouldn’t have used that spell on her without fully understanding how it might work. The floodgates may open now. It won’t be long before she remembers other things too.”
“Oh Plum, Betsy. What can we do about it now?”
“Well, there’s no way of stopping the memories from slowly coming back to her, but there is one thing that we can do to mitigate the repercussions of that. Its not going to be easy though, and I can’t do it alone…”
Before Dolly began to put her new plan in motion, she wanted to check in with Nancy again.
“You haven’t had any more strange visions again, have you?”
“I’m seeing a strange vision right now… YOUR FACE!”
“Nancy!! I’m being serious. This isn’t a game. Answer my question!”
“Oh my Watcher… why are you always so serious?! No, I haven’t seen the weird cow thing or that ginger man again! Why do you even care so much?”
A sense of purpose about her, Betsy went to meet the only person she knew could help her fix this mess.
Her heart pounded as she spotted her former Coven sister waiting there. They hadn’t seen each other since their big duel, and so much had happened since then.
“Hi, Dolly.”
The two Landgraab cousins had a lot to catch up on, and that’s exactly what they did as they circled Gilbert Gardens. Whilst a bit awkward, it felt oddly comfortable too.
It was also Dolly’s first time meeting little Queenie.
Eventually, Betsy got to the part about Nancy.
“Ah, Betsy... well, that spell was always gonna be a risk…”
“I know… but I've a theory. If she’s changed enough as a Sim, then why does her past have to define her future? There’s a potion... one that can alter a Sim’s Trait. I intend to use it to rid Nancy of Evil, for good.”
Dolly was sceptical. She’d never heard of this potion before.
“Oh it exists, and I happen to know a recipe sits in Nancy’s old library. That's where you come in.”
Dolly bore a guilty expression. Her purchase of Nancy's townhouse was one of the pair's many sore spots.
"Ah..."
“We have to forget about all that for now. With your help, I know we can do this.” Betsy paused. “There is a catch though. The potion is far too pungent for a child to consume, risky still for a teen. We can concoct it now, but until she gets older… well, it's a waiting game.”
Dolly considered all of this for a moment.
“I’ll help. Of course. I’m so glad you even asked me, and honestly surprised too... but... well, I do have one demand…”
“Dolly, I can't let you back in…”
“No, not that! It’s just… say you’ll come to the wedding, please.”
Betsy needed this after such an emotionally taxing day.
... but also because she and the Watcher just found out she's PREGNANT AGAIN!
(It really wasn’t in the plan for there to be any more kids born this Gen, but how could the Watcher deny the world more Sul Sul & Betsy offspring?)
To the surprise of, well... literally everyone, Nancy actually managed to make a friend!
This is Gabriella Charm, who happens to be the niece of Gemma.
Though, judging from the way this kid acts much of the time, perhaps their friendship is actually borne out of mutual evilness.
Though, in all seriousness, it is actually quite nice to see Nancy with a friend.
It was getting rather sad watching her cycle aimlessly about the neighbourhood, only to come home to dejectedly play chess on her own.
Concocting the trait altering potion was not as straightforward as Betsy might have hoped.
There was a lot of trial and error involved, but luckily she wasn’t having to do it all alone.
Dolly and Gemma were on hand to help.
The girls back together again <3
Not quite a Coven anymore, but as close to one as they can get for now.
Hopefully they can start rebuilding the trust between them again.
The trio of spellcasters were busy experimenting with some different ingredients, when the door to the basement quietly creaked open.
They were far too preoccupied to notice the footsteps creeping down the staircase behind them…
Nancy’s face lit up at what she saw.
"Holy Watcher… what’s happening down here?!”
Betsy immediately stopped what she was doing and ran over to confront Nancy.
“Ms Landgraab!! What have I told you a million times over? NEVER come down here!”
“Whaaaa-”
It didn’t take long for Nancy to gather herself, though.
“Well, maybe you should learn to lock a door once in a while! How could I ignore all the sounds of banging and explosions down here? It sure didn’t sound like you were doing yoga like you told me!”
Betsy didn’t appreciate Nancy’s tone.
“I mean… while I’m down here… can I not just… y’know, watch what you’re doing? It looks so cool…”
“Nancy,” Betsy muttered.
“Okay, fine! I’m going…”
As Nancy returned to her room, another wave of strange visions hit her.
This time she saw a witch, and she was being a TOTAL badass.
“Wow… I want to be like her,” muttered Nancy.
Moments later she had collapsed unconscious upon her bed.
This trio is very nearly about to become a quartet (if we choose to ignore Nancy’s existence for a moment).
Baby number two is almost here!
Welcome, baby boy Landgraab!
“Well, we named Queenie after my ancestor, so its only fair you get to pick the name this time.”
“Oh… okay. Well, I’ve no memory of my ancestors, or any of my family at all… I’m just Sul Sul….”
Sul Sul thought hard for a moment.
“Hmm…. well, how about Dag Dag, then?”
Betsy began cracking up.
“Oh wait.. you’re serious? Umm… okay, sure. Why not! I guess Tag Tag Landgraab has a nice ring to it."
"Eww, not another one. And a boy too? Double eww."
Tartosa supremacy!
She and Sulani will forever be the untouchables in the eyes of the Watcher.
Seriously, the vibes here are perfect.
Little Finnick Kattan has aged up into an adorable toddler.
The Watcher is wondering if its just him that sees an uncanny resemblance to a (much younger) Charlie Spring from Heartstopper?
Oh, nothing new here… just the Watcher becoming overly attached to yet another Spare.
Nalani took her two sons out for dinner.
They were celebrating the fact that Delphin has officially purchased his own restaurant!
He did so in partnership with his brother Merywn, who put in the final 10k Simoleons he was short by.
Exciting times ahead!
After dinner, the mermaids slipped into the ocean for a midnight swim.
Poor Merwyn just had to watch as they raced around him.
Ahhh.
Is there anything more beautiful than a mermaid swimming so freely beneath the starry sky?
And here we have Delphin's new beachfront restaurant, aptly named 'The Blue Mermaid'.
This place was originally a little bar (beautifully created by SimCubeez), which the Kattans then converted into a little restaurant.
Delphin is finally living his dream as the chef of his own establishment. No more catering events for corporate companies he hates!
The Blue Mermaid is just a small place for now, but it certainly has scope to expand eventually.
As a 25% owner of the business, Merwyn has also been helping out too.
Ichika is also working here in a sort of manager/host role, at least until the business takes off.
She's honestly enjoying the time away from her programming career (where she recently became burnt out), and also appreciates any opportunity to put her Neat trait to good use!
While the adults of the family worked to run the business, the kids enjoyed their new home away from home.
Days at The Blue Mermaid were truly an entire family affair.
With mum and dad running the restaurant, it was often grandma who saw to entertaining the kids.
“Wait fwor me nanny… I wanna hear da stowy too!”
proceeds to eat the rubber duck instead of listening
“I wuv you Finny.”
“I wuv you mwore Sandy.”
Such happy memories this little family were creating here.
The kids didn’t even mind the long days-turned-nights they would spend at the restaurant.
They were having the best childhood!
Time, however, seemed to pass alarmingly fast with the entire family, and the Watcher, so focused on making the restaurant a success.
In fact, it was suddenly time for another birthday!
Sandy was aging into a child, and the entire Kattan-Landgraab family had ventured to Tartosa to celebrate.
Hopple Borfna Sandy!
You truly were the cutest infant/toddler ever.
Her two grandmas were very enthusiastic in cheering her on as she blew out the candles!
And here she is - little Sandy as a child!
Well, I guess not so little now.
Her first rolled trait is Outgoing, which makes sense given her already bubbly and smiley personality.
And just a couple of random shots of a few of the guests, namely Johnny and Gianico who don’t get nearly enough screen time these days.
Also Dolly and Gemma - but we'll be seeing more of them very soon…
It was a lovely lil birthday party!
